Dr Anastasios Gaitanidis is a relational psychoanalyst in private practice. In addition to his clinical work, he has held appointments as a senior lecturer and director of studies, and provided clinical and research supervision to psychotherapists and counselling psychologists at various universities and training institutions in London, UK. He currently holds the position of Visiting Professor for the DPsych in Counselling Psychology at Regent’s University London. He was the theory editor of the European Journal of Psychotherapy and Counselling (EJPC) and he is currently part of the editorial board of Psychoanalysis, Culture and Society (PCS). He has published a substantial body of academic work, including journal articles and books, with two recent book publications "The Sublime in Everyday Life" (2021) and "Wilderness and Ecopsychology" (2026).
