Janine de Peyer, LCSW is Faculty and Supervisor at the National Institute for the Psychotherapies, NY, and at the Stephen Mitchell Relational Study Center, where she serves on their Executive Committee. Janine is Associate Editor with Psychoanalytic Dialogues, and has published in Psychoanalytic Dialogues and Psychoanalytic Perspectiveson transference/countertransference, eroticism, dissociation, unconscious communication,and the uncanny. Recent articles include “Uncanny communication and the porous mind,”Psychoanalytic Dialogues, 2016, and “Traversing the ineffable: Commentary on Sharon Farber’s,“Becoming a telepathic tuning fork,” Psychoanalytic Dialogues, 2017. Janine has presentedinternationally, and is in private practice in Manhattan where she integrates EMDR andcreative visualization within a relational psychoanalytic framework.
